Old title: Trouble running Games CD's, post installation on Vista. Desktop parallels 9 mediafire. I.e AoE 2, Warrior kings. I have vista on my laptop, ihave installed games like shogun and medieval total war and they both run fine, i have tried putting on age of empires and warrior kings:battles which are also on a cd format, i have installed the latter but they wont run after that. Though the instialltion is complete i keep getting requested if i wish to allow the program to run as an administrator.:s DVD/CD drive recognises there is a disk, but doesnt run automatically.

I can install the program normally when i run setup.exe for the game. When i try to run the program with the CD in, i get a message 'Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application'. I have tried running them in compatability mode, using all variations. And also tried soome of the help article hints about the disk drivers. The game disks are clean and un scratched. Why can i install the program, and access the disk to use the files on it, but then not run the disk?
