Sharon, Welcome to the discussions, I am not an expert, but it has been my expierence that all the printers I am familiar with are set up defalut from the factorys to 8.50 X 11.00 Paper. If you intend to print a custom size you will have to enter it after each printing or it will automaticly revert back to default settings. Some printers allow you to change these default settings permenent and switch back and forth. Others do not. Be sure you go to your printer manufactures web site and download the latest drivers for your printer and Operating system. Open them in Applications folder, Or your Printer Utility Folder.
