First off, this was part of a promotional item that we got with Autocad LT 2013 for Mac. I really can't complain too much because it was free. Lbd-pud6u3msv usb3.0 compatible blu-ray disc drive for mac. However, at this point I would not pay $100 for it, like advertised. I have not even gone to the online course. It is getting one star right now (maybe updated later) because it is not a book.

1. Free Autocad Lt Training

I paid for overnight shipping on this, only to have a piece of paper in an envelope show up. I have used Autocad LT for quite a while now, and I ordered this for one of my guys. The problem with an online course is, it is really hard to work on Autocad while you are watching/reading a course online. You need your screens available to be able to work on AC. A book can sit in front of you and you can look at your screen then the book. Basically, just pay attention. You are not getting a book.

I know the online things take a LOT of money to put together, but for staring out on AC, that is not my preferred method. I will update this if it just wows me.

Sorry to say, I am not expecting it, just because of the nature of the course. Update 9/1/2012 This product isn't even for MAC. Even though it is advertised as 'For Mac' the demonstrations are all done in a Windows environment. So far the tutor seems very knowledgeable, just this product is mis-marketed.

9/4/2012 This might be my final update. I am not at all impressed with this product. It is not at all for MAC. The commands are different, the pallets are different, etc, etc.

If you would like a product to help you learn AC for MAC, this is not the product for you. I am also down-rating this course to one star.

I was being fair at the beginning when I gave it two stars, but after this, I would say it isn't even worth two stars. I can also say that I am unbiased since we got the course for free. If I would have spent $99 on it, I would have been really upset.

This is just information so each of you can make your choice.
